Lakeside Psychology is looking for a passionate Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join the team. Position Requirements:
Education:
- Postgraduate qualification in psychology or higher (graduates are encouraged to apply)
Qualifications:
- Registered with Psychology Board of Australia (endorsement in clinical, counselling or educational/developmental psychology desirable)
Experience:
- Assessing and treating children and adolescents for a range of presenting problems and psychological disorders.
- Administering and reporting on range of psychoeducational assessments with children and adolescents for intellectual disability, giftedness and learning disorders (desirable).
- Providing services under a range of funding programs (e.g. Medicare, NDIS, DSS etc.).
Skills:
- Helping children and adolescents using attachment-based approaches (desirable).

- Registration (or eligible to be) with Medicare Australia.
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance, and Working with Children and Police Check.
As a Child and Adolescent Psychologist, you will be responsible for:
- Helping a diverse range of children, adolescents and families through strategic treatment planning and evidence-based, best practice approaches to achieve their goals.
- Impacting the broader community to promote mental health and wellbeing through school presentations and community events.
- Designing creative ways of communicating to the community about mental health in children and adolescents for our website and social media.
- Contributing strategically to the vision and mission of Lakeside Psychology.
