Position Requirements:
Education:
- Postgraduate qualification in psychology or higher (graduates are encouraged to apply)
Qualifications:
- Registered with Psychology Board of Australia (endorsement in clinical or counselling psychology desirable)
Experience:
- Assessing and treating adolescents and adults for a range of presenting problems and psychological disorders.
- Providing services under a range of funding programs (e.g. Medicare, TAC, Workcover, Victims of Crime, NDIS etc.).
Skills:
- Helping adolescents and adults using attachment-based approaches (desirable).
Characteristics:

- Working effectively on your own and within a team environment.
- A highly motivated and innovative attitude toward service delivery.
- High level of self-awareness, including areas of interpersonal strengths and areas for further development.

Other:
- Registration (or eligible to be) with Medicare Australia.
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance, and Working with Children and Police Check.
As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for:
- Helping a diverse range of adolescents and adults through strategic treatment planning and evidence-based, best practice approaches to achieve their goals.
- Impacting the broader community to promote mental health and wellbeing through school presentations and community events.
- Designing creative ways of communicating to the community about mental health in adolescents and adults for our website and social media.
- Contributing strategically to the vision and mission of Lakeside Psychology.
